Halifax Titanic Historical Tours

There's much to see here in our selection of Halifax historical tours. So, take your time, look around, and learn all there is to know about our Nova Scotia tours, including the fascinating Titanic tours Halifax offers. We hope you enjoy our site and take a moment to drop us a line.

Six Hour Tour of Historic Halifax Nova Scotia

Our Most Popular Tour

Tour Cost is $115.00 USD or $140.00 CAD per guest.

We specialize in memorable and affordable small group shared tours, accommodating a minimum of four guests and a maximum of ten guests.

Our Halifax historical tours feature the Halifax Titanic Historical Tour, which is a six-hour exploration of historic Halifax, Dartmouth, and Fisherman's Cove in Eastern Passage. Fisherman’s Cove is a quaint, authentic working fishing village that is over 200 years old, where the vibrant Nova Scotia Cape Islanders haul in the freshest seafood in the world, including haddock, lobster, and tuna in October.

You will discover an amazing, beautiful historic city steeped in Canadian and world history, ensuring you see everything in just six hours.

During this tour, you will visit and hear about many iconic and historical sites in Halifax, including Pier 21, the Gateway to Canada, the Halifax Seaport Market, George's Island, and Halifax Harbour Boardwalk. Additional highlights include Alexander Keith's Brewery, Maritime Museum of the Atlantic, Nova Scotia Art Gallery, Historic Properties, DND Dockyards, St. George's Round Church, Halifax Town Hall, The Five Fishermen, The Grand Parade, and many more.

Our Halifax Titanic tours also delve into the remarkable history of the Titanic, including significant sites related to the Titanic disaster and the Halifax Explosion, as well as the stories and miracles surrounding these two historic tragedies.

You will also learn about Halifax's major role in the War of 1812, WWI, and WWII. We will visit the Halifax Citadel Fortress (Fort George) at noon to experience the firing of the 'Noon Gun,' a Halifax tradition since 1856, alongside the Changing of the 78th Highlander Sentinel. The tour continues with a journey across the world’s second-largest natural harbor to Dartmouth for a fresh seafood lunch at Evan's Seafood, featuring an incredible view of Halifax before concluding at Fisherman's Cove in Eastern Passage. We’ll also drive by Lake Banook in Dartmouth on our way back to your hotel or cruise vessel.

For larger groups, your guide, Paul McNeil, will drive a Ford Transit 350 XLT HD AWD High Roof 15-passenger van, accommodating four minimum to ten maximum guests for a comfortable experience. For private bookings, luxury sedans are available for groups of four guests minimum and maximum, with very knowledgeable guides.

Our van is equipped with a microphone to speaker system and an 18.4-inch Samsung Galaxy tablet for viewing images and videos to enhance your tour experience. Complimentary cold water is provided in all tour vehicles, and all guides/chauffeurs are owner/operators of Halifax Limousine Companies, ensuring you see all the sites that other tour companies miss.

No deposit is required as we trust our guests; we only need your hotel or cruise vessel information and your cell/mobile phone number that you'll have turned on while in Halifax to confirm your tour.

Please note that all payments for shared tours are cash only in USD or CAD.

Seating is provided on a first-come, first-serve basis in the tour vehicle. Most tours start between 9:00 and 9:30 AM with pickups from any downtown hotel or at Pier 22 Cruise Pavilion. For late-arriving cruise vessels, tours will begin 30 minutes after arrival in Halifax.

All prices include tax and gratuity; however, your lunch is not included in the tour price.

If you're flying into Halifax's Robert L. Stanfield International Airport (YHZ), we also offer airport pre-arranged luxury sedan service with AM PM Limousine for $80.00 CAD, providing a limo experience for the same price as a taxi.

Please note that credit cards are only accepted for private tours and airport car services, and tour vehicles and guides are subject to change. All van tours require a minimum of four guests and can accommodate up to ten guests. This tour is recommended for ages 13 to 100 years old.
